A history that sets precedents.
COINSU is born
429 families of smallholder growers from Cortés and Yoro legally constitute their own oil extraction plant — to stop selling their fruit to distant mills with high transport costs.
GEOPALSA is born
Concerned about mitigating the environmental impact of effluent, the families create this bioenergy plant: electricity, biogas and natural gases from wastewater treated in huge digesters.
BIOSA is born
State-of-the-art technology able to extract phytonutrients and phytosubstances from Non GMO crude oil — with the potential to prevent degenerative diseases — as well as biodiesel in favour of the environment. Since its foundation, the first producer of palm phytonutrients on the American continent. Today BIOSA produces distilled B100 biodiesel and is developing a line of food-grade biolubricants of renewable origin.
BioHCO is born
An alliance with the Latin American giant BioD of Colombia: the first company in the Americas to market Non GMO palm phytonutrients and phytosubstances, backed by Kosher, Non-GMO and RSPO certifications.
