We are dedicated to the production of bioenergies from the treatment of the effluents generated by the Non GMO oil extraction processes carried out by our sister division, COINSU.
We treat the effluents or wastewater by sending them directly from the process to huge digesters in order to produce the biogas with which we operate all the divisions of COINSU GROUP. Thanks to the capture of methane, we contribute to reducing global warming by not emitting greenhouse gases.
65% of the biogas generated after treating the effluents is sent to two combustion engines to produce an average of 1,300 Kilowatt-hours (nominal 1,600 kilowatt-hours). The remaining biogas (35%) is sold to third parties.
